The suspended magistrates are Satyarajan Pal (an LDC at SAI), Souvik Nandi (a teacher at Durgabala Datta Girls' School), and Suranjan Das (an UDC in a state government department). According to the allegations, while on Flying Squad duty on the night of April 17, these three magistrates were found sitting idly near the Bhabanipur Police Station, and no records or entries regarding their work could be found in any register.
