Citizens who have not yet completed the biometric authentication process now have time till 30th June 2026 to update their details. Officials have indicated that failure to complete e-KYC before the new cut-off date may result in suspension of monthly ration benefits from July 2026 onwards. Why Was the Deadline Extended? The earlier deadline was 31st May 2026. West Bengal athletes Abhay Burman and Ritu Mondal secured gold in the Senior Male and Senior Female Traditional Yogasana categories respectively. Their performances helped India dominate the global event. Singapore’s Nathaniel Tan won the remaining gold, preventing a clean sweep by the hosts. The championship is being recognized as the biggest global showcase for competitive Yogasana.
