  Reported  by Avijit Dey Kolkata :   Dr. Purnendu Roy , Chairman and Managing Director of Genesis Hospital Kasba , claimed that the news circulating about the cancellation of the hospital's license is completely baseless and fake.  At a press conference held at the Kolkata Press Club on December 22, 2025, he stated that Genesis Hospital Kasba's license has never been cancelled and is currently fully valid. The Honorable High Court issued a stay order on December 16, 2024, on the order dated December 12, 2024, of the Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission in the compensation case filed by patient Pranab Ghosh.  Simultaneously, the subsequent order regarding license cancellation was also challenged in the High Court, and the state authorities have been instructed not to implement that order.
