Held at the grounds of Thakurpukur Vivekananda College, the 21st Senior State Handball Championship saw Central Kolkata—the defending champions in the women's category—retain their title by defeating Jalpaiguri with a score of 20-11. West Kolkata and Nadia secured the third and fourth positions, respectively, in this category.  Bengal got it's first motor sports academy  Reported by Sanchita chatterjee Kolkata : Amuzi Sports Tech Ecosystem on Saturday announced the launch of its first-ever motorsports, adventure bike, and 4x4 car rally training centres in West Bengal, with facilities set up across Joka, North Kolkata, and the Maidan. The announcement was made during a press conference at Calcutta South Club. Renowned motorsports personality Uday Ganguly attended the event and highlighted the lack of awareness around motorsports in India. “People know very little about motorsports and often fail to recognise it as a legitimate sport.
