For this specific pass, this represents a marginal inflation-linked increase (approximately 2.5%), which entitles the holder to cross toll plazas up to 200 times within a one-year period. Key details regarding the amendment to the FASTag Annual Pass are as follows: New Rate: The new price for the annual pass for non-commercial (private) vehicles is now ₹3,075. Effective Date: This revised fee will be effective from April 1, 2026. Validity: The pass will remain valid for a period of one year or until the vehicle has crossed a toll plaza 200 times—whichever occurs earlier. The Election Commission has issued the following clear directives: • *Code of Conduct:* In the states of Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, no new government policies may be formulated, nor can any major announcements be made, effective immediately.
