51st All India Inter Schools' Regatta 2026 Sets Sail at Rabindra Sarobar Sports Reported by Sanchita chatterjee: KOLKATA — The Lake Club Ltd. is organizing the 51st All India Invitation Inter Schools' Regatta from 24th May to 30th May 2026 at Rabindra Sarobar. Recognized by the Rowing Federation of India as an event of national importance, the regatta has been held annually since 1973. Often called the "Nursery of Indian Rowing", the event has been instrumental in the resurgence of rowing in Bengal. Every year, approximately 200 students from 45 schools participate in what entered the Limca Book of Records in 2013 as the largest rowing event, with over 450 oarspersons. Participation is completely free for all students. The Lake Club provides training, boats, gym facilities, and complete race organization at no cost.
