On the eve of the New Year, today, I paid homage to the night feet of Maa Kali at the holy shrine of Kalighat. With deep devotion, I performed puja at the Kalighat temple and prayed for the well-being and peace of the people of Bengal. Along with this, I was fortunate to visit the Nakuleshwar Bhairav temple and the Lord Jagannath temple. With the loving blessings of God, may every day of the new year become bright and full of joy - this is my prayer.  Like countless devotees, the visit of Kalighat temple and Maa Kali brings an indescribable mental peace to me. The memory of going to this temple with my mother every year to pray is still indelible in the depths of my heart. Respect for people, humanity, the rich culture of Bengal and mutual unity are the main foundations of true religion. There is no religion greater than loving people, regardless of race, religion or caste, we are all bound by an unbreakable bond of harmony.  On the eve of Poyala Baishakh, I wish you ...
