According to local sources, for the last three months, camps were set up in villages in the name of giving 'Annapurna cards' and collecting Aadhaar cards, bank passbooks and registration fees of Rs 500 from the common people. How the fraud was going on: Fake forms: Forms with the government logo and the Chief Minister's picture were distributed and it was said that 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses and Rs 1000 would be directly credited to the account per month.
