Kolkata, 08/06/2026: West Bengal Food & Supplies Department has extended the last date for Ration Card e-KYC verification. Citizens who have not completed e-KYC must finish the process before 30/06/2026 to continue ration benefits.

Last Date & New Deadline

Old Last Date: 31/05/2026

New Last Date: 30/06/2026

Important: After 30/06/2026, ration supply may stop for cards without e-KYC. Complete the process before deadline to avoid any problem in getting monthly ration.

How to Check e-KYC Status Online?

Step 1: Go to official WB Food Department portal food.wb.gov.in

Step 2: Click "Ration Card e-KYC Status" option on homepage

Step 3: Enter 10 digit Ration Card number and registered mobile number

Step 4: Enter OTP received on mobile and click Submit

Step 5: Status will show on screen. "e-KYC Done" means process complete. "Pending" means you need to complete biometric verification.

Documents Needed for e-KYC

• Original Ration Card

• Aadhaar Card linked with mobile number

• Biometric fingerprint at Ration Dealer Shop or e-KYC Kendra

• Mobile number for OTP verification

Where to Complete e-KYC?

Visit your nearest Fair Price Shop/Ration Dealer. Dealer will take fingerprint using biometric device. Process is 100% free. No agent or middleman needed. You can also visit nearest e-KYC center listed on food.wb.gov.in portal.

Important Notes:

• e-KYC is mandatory for all ration card holders as per government rule.

• Only official portal food.wb.gov.in should be used. Avoid fake websites.

• If mobile number not linked with Aadhaar, update it first at Aadhaar Seva Kendra.

Update 08/06/2026: Over 2 crore ration cards in West Bengal. Government extended deadline to ensure no beneficiary is left out due to pending e-KYC verification.
