In particular, whenever Kohli smashed a six, his wife—Anushka Sharma, who was present in the gallery—was seen symbolically "tossing money" from the stands; a gesture that has since gone viral across social media platforms.


As Kohli played a magnificent innings of 81 runs off 44 balls, Anushka was frequently spotted dancing with joy and applauding whenever he executed a big shot.

Following a long-standing dispute, the West Bengal government has taken a significant step toward clearing the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) dues of state government employees and pensioners. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made an announcement regarding this matter on Sunday afternoon, prior to the declaration of the election schedule in the state.
