Releasing a 'charge sheet' against the Trinamool government,

Repoted by Sanchita chatterjee: political landscape is witnessing intense heat and conflicting claims surrounding the upcoming 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections. Top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) assert that, this time around, they are poised to form the government in the state with a massive majority.

Speaking at multiple public rallies, they have confidently declared that the BJP will establish a government in the state with an absolute majority. Promising corruption-free governance, they are appealing to voters to cast their ballots for the 'Lotus' symbol.

It has been claimed that the BJP is set to win more than 177 seats in this election. The Chief Minister of Assam, speaking at a meeting on Monday, stated that the formation of a BJP government in the state is "100 percent certain."

Releasing a 'charge sheet' against the Trinamool government, they asserted that the entire region—spanning Anga, Banga, and Kalinga—will soon be governed by a single party: the BJP.

Conversely, top leaders of the Trinamool Congress have completely dismissed these claims. According to them, the Trinamool will once again form the government in Bengal with a resounding majority, and the BJP's aspirations will remain unfulfilled this time as well.
