Kolkata, 04/06/2026: Thousands of beneficiaries of Annapurna Yojana in West Bengal are facing major issues today. The state's official government portal wbnsW.wb.gov.in has been down since 12:32 PM on 04/06/2026. Users are reporting server errors while trying to submit new applications and check application status.

The technical error shows "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" which means the website domain is not reachable. Even the central government portal nsap.nic.in related to social security schemes is also facing downtime issues. This has created panic among applicants who have deadline pressure for form submission.

Why is Portal Down?

1. Server Overload: Too many users trying to access at same time during deadline period.

2. Technical Maintenance: Govt may be doing server upgrades without prior notice.

3. Domain Issue: DNS server problem causing website to show not found error.

3 Alternative Ways to Submit Annapurna Form:

1. Visit Nearest CSC Center: Go to Common Service Center in your area with documents. They can submit offline and give you acknowledgment receipt. Carry Aadhaar, Bank Passbook, and Residence Proof.

2. Use Duare Sarkar Mobile App: Download official Duare Sarkar App from Play Store. Login with mobile number and try form submission. App server is sometimes separate from website.

3. Retry During Low Traffic Hours: Government portals usually work better after 11 PM to 6 AM. Try submitting form late night when server load is minimum.

Important Tips for Applicants:

• Keep all scanned documents ready in JPG or PDF format under 200KB size.

• Use Chrome browser in incognito mode to avoid cache issues.

• Take screenshot of error and save application number if generated.

• Contact local Panchayat office for offline submission help.
