The "Annapurna Bhandar" scheme form-filling initiative is an electoral pledge by the BJP, made ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections, promising a monthly financial assistance of ₹3,000 to women. This form-filling process—or survey—is currently being conducted by local-level BJP workers across various areas, either through door-to-door visits or via designated camps. It is not a scheme launched by the central or state government.

Rather, it is a pre-election promise made by the BJP.BJP workers are facilitating the completion of these forms by visiting households directly or by setting up camps at specific locations.

Under this proposed scheme, women are being informed that they will receive ₹3,000 per month.

Since this is not a government-sponsored scheme, it is essential to exercise caution before divulging personal information under the pretext of filling out these forms.
