  Reported by Sanchita chatterjee: The excitement that I witnessed from my mother, brothers and sisters at the public meetings in Minakhan, Noapara, Panihati, Rajarhat-Gopalpur and Bidhannagar Vidhan Sabha constituencies of North 24 Parganas district today will remain an indelible memory in my heart for the rest of my life. I am deeply touched by the immense affection and love that I have received from them. With your blessings, affection and support, Trinamool Congress will continue the trend of development in the coming days as well. 



There is no place for any outsider Delhi ruling class in this self-reliant Bengal. Because, they are eager to spread the poison of unrest and division in this Bengal of harmony. They are trying to snatch the fundamental rights of the people by carrying out various conspiracies. 

We have to resist these evil forces through democratic means. Those who dream of seizing power by playing the politics of division, the people of Bengal will never support them. Not even a single vote for BJP, which insults our culture and violates the democratic rights of the common man. 


I appeal to all the language-speaking people of Bengal, regardless of caste, religion or colour - to protect the language, culture and honour of Bengal, please vote for the candidates of the mother-land-people of Bengal, including Minakhan Assembly constituency candidate Usha Rani Mandal, Noapara Assembly constituency candidate Trinankur Bhattacharya, Panihati Assembly constituency candidate Tirthankar Ghosh, Rajarhat-Gopalpur Assembly constituency candidate Aditi Munshi and Bidhannagar Assembly constituency candidate Sujit Bose,

Following a long-standing dispute, the West Bengal government has taken a significant step toward clearing the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) dues of state government employees and pensioners. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made an announcement regarding this matter on Sunday afternoon, prior to the declaration of the election schedule in the state. Notably, even before her announcement, the Finance Department had issued several notifications and memoranda on March 13, stating that the DA arrears—accrued between April 2008 and December 2019—would be cleared in a phased manner.
