There is no doubt that the BJP state is at the top of the crime list! The ultimate example of administrative failure. Not only that, his name is on the most wanted list in eight states, but the former councilor of the saffron state was on the run from the police. In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, the police are struggling to catch an interstate criminal accused of stealing more than 400 rupees. It is learned that the accused was hiding under water for 5 hours, breathing through a lotus stem. Finally, he was caught with the help of divers.

The thief was fleeing from Jabalpur after stealing a woman's purse from an AC coach of a train. As the train slowed down near Sihora station, he tried to escape by jumping off the moving train. To escape the police, he jumped into a nearby pond. Due to the darkness of the night and the thick moss in the pond, he easily evaded the police. But the police did not give up. The operation began at night by calling divers. But it was not immediately clear that he was hiding under the water. Later, it was learned that the accused was taking oxygen from outside by putting a hollow lotus stem in his mouth. After about 5 hours of effort, the divers found him.

After his arrest, the accused repeatedly tried to confuse the police by changing his name. But his real identity was revealed through an old photograph. It is known that he is Harvinder Singh alias Sunny, a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Most surprisingly, in 2017, he was elected as a councilor as an independent candidate from Haldaur Nagar Nikaya.

Wanted in 8 states, more than 400 theftsThis thief mainly targeted passengers in AC coaches of trains. He used to hide in the bathroom to avoid ticket checking. In 2018, diamonds and jewellery worth more than Rs 70 lakh were recovered from him. Apart from this, he also stole a passenger's licensed revolver and a large amount of cash from Avantika Express.
