Reported by Sanchita chatterjee The Higher Secondary results will be published today. 2026 — The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially announced the HS Result 2026 today. Candidates can now visit the official websites to check their results by entering their Roll Number and Date of Birth.


How to Check HS Result 2026:

Visit the official websites: wbchse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in

Click on the link titled "Higher Secondary Examination 2026 Result"

Enter your Roll Number + Date of Birth and click 'Submit'

Download your marksheet and save it as a PDF file for future reference.


Important Information:

Pass Percentage: The pass percentage for this year has been reported as 88.5%.

Toppers: The merit list has also been published simultaneously.

Marksheet: The online marksheet is provisional. Original marksheets will be available for collection from schools within 7–10 days.

Following a long-standing dispute, the West Bengal government has taken a significant step toward clearing the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) dues of state government employees and pensioners. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made an announcement regarding this matter on Sunday afternoon, prior to the declaration of the election schedule in the state. Notably, even before her announcement, the Finance Department had issued several notifications and memoranda on March 13, stating that the DA arrears—accrued between April 2008 and December 2019—would be cleared in a phased manner.
