 From 2026, the Government of India provides it 100% free for all 14-year-old girls.

Cervical cancer is the 2nd most common cancer among women in India, with over 1.2 lakh new cases every year. But in 2026, the Government of India provides it 100% free for all 14-year-old girls. Just 1 single dose of HPV Vaccine can prevent 90% of cervical cancer cases caused by HPV types 16 and 18. The vaccine is now available at all government hospitals, PHCs, CHCs, and District Hospitals. U-WIN Registration Process The vaccine will be given only at government health facilities:  Ayushman  Arogya Mandir, Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres, Sub-District Hospitals, District Hospitals, and Government Medical Colleges. Private clinics are not part of this campaign.2 Ways to Register:

Online: Go to U-WIN portal/app → Enter girl’s name, age, mobile number → Verify OTP → Select nearest health centre → Book date and time slot.

Offline: Visit your nearest PHC/CHC directly. Fill the consent form and take the vaccine as walk-in. No internet needed. The dose is 0.5 ml, given as a single intramuscular injection in the left upper arm. The vaccine is now available on routine immunization days at all government health facilities
