Details of the Incident In the Doharia area of Madhyamgram, Chandranath Rath's vehicle was intercepted on a public road, and he was shot at point-blank range. Although he was rushed to a hospital, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Identity of the Victim The deceased, Chandranath Rath, had served for a long period as Suvendu Adhikari's aide or Personal Secretary. Another individual named Buddhadev, who was accompanying him at the time of the incident, sustained injuries.
