Raghav Chadha points out that while advanced traffic cameras can instantly detect helmet and seatbelt violations and fine citizens, the same technology fails to identify dangerous potholes on the roads. He questions why digital surveillance is given priority for punitive measures, while it is not equally used for infrastructure development. According to him, road safety regulations and road quality should be given equal importance.
