Reported by Sanchita chatterjee: In the present times, the cost of children's education has emerged as the single greatest source of anxiety for ordinary middle-class families. The stark reality regarding the unbridled fee hikes by private schools—as highlighted in Parliament—is truly a matter that demands serious reflection. MP Swati Maliwal stated

Plunder and Profiteering Most private schools are no longer "temples of learning," but have instead transformed into "factories for minting money."

Unbridled Fee Hikes Under the guise of session charges, tuition fees, and various other miscellaneous levies, schools are—year after year—picking the pockets of the common people.

The Book and Uniform Syndicate MP Swati Maliwal has sharply criticized the prevailing culture wherein parents are compelled to purchase books, notebooks, and uniforms exclusively from the schools themselves.

Demand for Government Intervention MP Swati Maliwal has raised the pertinent question: why does the government exercise no control over this "education mafia"? She warned that unless the commercialization of education is halted, children from ordinary families will inevitably be left behind.

Right vs. Commodity Education is a fundamental human right; yet today, it has been reduced to a costly commodity. MP Swati Maliwal asserted that the time has come for everyone to unite and stand up against this injustice.
