The event’s central figure was the company’s founder and CEO, Priyajit Pal. The occasion was organized to celebrate his initiative, vision, and commitment to providing quality entertainment for the new generation. The proceedings began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Priyajit Pal, accompanied by his parents.


This gesture marked the beginning of the company's journey, reflecting a deep respect for family values ​​and culture. Distinguished guests from various walks of life attended the event, including Jhargram MLA Lakshmikanta Sau and Anupam Haldar—a renowned photographer and Joint Commissioner of the West Bengal Excise Department.

They all highly praised Priyajit Pal’s new venture and extended their best wishes for the future. Speaking at the event, Priyajit Pal said, "Our journey began with a dream on August 27, 2025. Today, that dream has been realized on a much larger scale. Our goal is to deliver quality, wholesome, and diverse entertainment to the audience. Currently, our platform hosts around 40 titles spanning genres such as mystery, romance, thrillers, and horror. In the days ahead, we plan to present even more new and high-quality content to our viewers." Beyond the entertainment industry, Priyajit Pal is also known as a successful Bengali entrepreneur; he operates a well-known hotel in Tarapith and a picturesque homestay in Sittong, Darjeeling. Having achieved success in the tourism and hospitality sectors, he has now embarked on a new chapter in the world of digital entertainment. His aim is to create a robust platform for emerging Bengali writers, artists, actors, and filmmakers, ensuring their talent reaches audiences both at home and abroad. The company has announced that Click Canvas Entertainment will produce and release original, high-quality content not only in Bengali but also in various other Indian languages. One of the organization's key objectives is to deliver world-class entertainment to audiences while providing opportunities to new talent. At the conclusion of the event, guests highly praised this bold initiative by Priyajit Pal. They believe that this OTT platform—launched by a young Bengali entrepreneur—is poised to play a significant role in the landscape of Bengali and Indian digital entertainment in the future.
