Charter of Demands/ Possible Remedies to get rid off from Stagnant situation of promotion and other aspects of Officers (Cadre-WBSLRS, Gr-1) & for L &L.R. & R.R. & R. Department

Work Culture Related:

1.The MUHURI CULTURE of this good Department should be abolished gradually by developing Land Literacy among Citizen and Society with a view of "INTEGRAL HUMANISM - The Great Thought of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhya Sir. It may allow citizen to get direct access to Offices for any land related problem. Land literacy can empower one to do his land related official work own self.

2. Up gradation of Land records and Map with Real time Google Maps. Thus illegal encroachment of Land can be stopped and grabbing of land mafias over land can be finished. One citizen can easily identify own land without any complexity.

3. As a part of valuable views of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sir, to gear up Women Empowerment, Land Patta should be given in the name of Female member of Family and it may strengthen the livelihood of Refugee Families in Border area.

4. Our officers are already engaged in fencing work at Indo Bangladesh Border with BSF. This should be expedited. More Revenue Officers may be engaged, if required to secure our Nation.

5.As a part of valuable views of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sir, Digital Logistic Support and Other infrastructural development in Interior Block Level offices.


6. We welcome the policy decision towards vision of large scale of industrial & infrastructure projects. We would like to play active role in land acquisition, development, conversion and to make such lands free from all encumbrances

7. Land related works must be decentralized to reduce unnecessary time lagging in completion of quasi judicial functions in accordance with true spirit of West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.


8. Delimitation must be implemented all along the State to protect aspiration of majority people. We would like to help the Government in this regard, as and when needed.

Cadre Upliftment and Betterment Related:

We are glad to see that Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal announced that during the era of New Govt., the Officials will act and discharge their duties as per law without fear and threat.

Our expectations from our New Govt. that Transfer-Posting will be done in logical and fair manner and for deprivation in the matter of promotion, Our new Govt. will act fast for our cadre WBSLRS,Grade-1.


Hence, we demand for fair and logical transfer policy of Our Cadre under your good department without any favoritism and corrupt practice.


We hereby express our willingness to extend full cooperation and support to the Government in all possible aspects for the development and strengthening of an efficient and effective administrative system.

Following a long-standing dispute, the West Bengal government has taken a significant step toward clearing the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) dues of state government employees and pensioners. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made an announcement regarding this matter on Sunday afternoon, prior to the declaration of the election schedule in the state. Notably, even before her announcement, the Finance Department had issued several notifications and memoranda on March 13, stating that the DA arrears—accrued between April 2008 and December 2019—would be cleared in a phased manner.
