JIS Education Expo 2026 Opens New Horizons for Future Aspirants

 Reported by Sanchita chatterjee, kolkata  2026 The much-awaited JIS Education Expo 2026 commenced in Kolkata on June 22, bringing together students, parents, educators, and academic leaders for a two-day educational extravaganza. Recognized as one of Eastern India's largest education-focused events, the expo aims to help students make informed academic and career decisions in an increasingly competitive world.

The event was inaugurated by distinguished guests including Samik Bhattacharya, President of BJP West Bengal, renowned actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty, and senior leadership from the JIS Group, including Managing Director Taranjit Singh, Joint Managing Director Haranjit Singh, and Director Simarpreet Singh.

This year's expo features participation from 39 institutions offering 185 academic programmes across diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and professional streams. Students and guardians have the opportunity to interact directly with faculty members, career counsellors, and admission experts to gain valuable insights into courses, career prospects, industry relevance, and emerging educational trends.

A key highlight of the inaugural day was the felicitation ceremony for meritorious Class X and Class XII students from various schools across West Bengal. The initiative celebrated academic excellence and encouraged young learners to pursue their ambitions with dedication and confidence.

The expo also offers free personalized counselling sessions, enabling students and parents to receive expert guidance on career planning, programme selection, scholarships, admissions, skill development, and future employment opportunities.

Speaking at the event, Taranjit Singh emphasized that education is not merely about earning degrees but about discovering potential and preparing for future opportunities. He noted that the expo serves as a platform where students can explore possibilities, receive meaningful guidance, and make informed choices about their future.
