Conceptualized by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the Pariksha Pe Charcha has emerged as a unique initiative aimed at redefining the examination experience of students by fostering confidence, positivity and holistic well-being.
Celebrating the examination season as a Utsav has greatly benefitted the stakeholders including the examinees.
Over the years, Pariksha pe Charcha has evolved into a formidable Jan Andolan by engaging crores of students, parents and teachers across the country.
The 8th Edition of the ‘Pariksha pe Charcha’ surpassed all previous strata of citizen engagement by achieving the Guinness World Record for "Most people to register for a citizen engagement platform in one month" with 3.53 crore valid registrations.
It is a matter of delight that Registrations for the 9th Edition have already surpassed this previous benchmark. More than 4.50 crore students, teachers and parents have registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 through the MyGov portal. This overwhelming participation is a testament to the unwavering support and shared commitment of the States and Union Territories (UTs) in advancing the objectives of this initiative.
It is understood that the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC 2026) is to be held during the first week of February 2026, tentatively.
In view of this, HG urges all stakeholders to facilitate viewing arrangements in all schools and educational institutions across the State. Further, arrangements for large scale viewing of the event in various public spaces across every district could also be facilitated and considered for the common benefit of everyone.
