The summit, themed "Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally," is scheduled to be held from March 19th to 22nd at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi. This summit will bring together global policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, investors, and experts to shape the future of the power system, encompassing all aspects including power generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and smart usage. The summit is expected to feature over 50 high-level conference sessions, more than 300 speakers, 1,000 delegates, over 500 exhibitors, and more than 25,000 visitors, making it one of the largest global platforms focused on the power sector. India Electricity Summit 2026 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Power and the industry sector and is being coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC India) with the support of Powergrid (Nodal), NTPC, PFC, REC, and NHPC.
As part of the preparations for the summit, India Electricity Summit 2026 organized a stakeholder engagement event and roadshow in Kolkata on January 21, 2026, which was attended by senior officials from key state-owned enterprises and industry stakeholders in the power sector. The event aimed to exchange insights on the evolving landscape of India's power sector and highlight the objectives and goals of India Electricity Summit 2026, one of the country's most important power sector platforms. Representatives from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) were also present at the event.
