According to data released by Press Information Bureau, Government of India, the country exported a record 19,72,018 metric tonnes of seafood worth ₹73,890.46 crore, equal to US $8.46 billion in the financial year 2025-26.This is the highest ever export value recorded by India’s seafood sector.
