India U20 women held to a draw by Swedish club Enskede IK Dam  Reported by Sanchita chatterjee: NEW DELHI: The India U20 women’s team played a 1-1 draw against Swedish club Enskede IK Dam on Wednesday, February 26 night, at the Bosön National Sports Centre in Lidingö, Sweden. Sibani Devi Nongmeikapam had put India in the lead in the 44th minute, before Enskede levelled matters in the 88th minute. India U20s head coach Joakim Alexandersson made eight changes to the starting XI from their last match against Täby FK, which the Young Tigresses won 4-0. Earlier, the India U20s had lost to Hammarby IF (0-6). The Young Tigresses will play one more friendly match – against Karlbergs BK on February 28 – as part of their AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup in Thailand, later this year.  A fire broke out in the Urbana complex, a luxury residential complex in Anandapur, south Kolkata, on Monday (February 23, 2026).   Reported by Sanchita chatterjee kolkata: The fire and smoke were first seen in the kitchen of a flat on the 5th floor of Tower No. 4 of the residential complex. According to initial estimates, the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the air conditioning (AC).  Damage and casualties: There are no reports of any casualties in the incident so far, but the corridors were filled with black smoke, causing intense panic among the residents.  Before the arrival of the two fire engines, the fire was largely brought under control by the residential complex's own state-of-the-art fire-fighting system and the prompt action of the staff. Later, the fire brigade arrived and completely normalized the situation.

  Finally, after a long illness, veteran Trinamool leader Mukul Roy passed away. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata for a long time, said Mukul Roy's son Shuvrangshu Roy. He was 72 years old at the time of his death. He joined the party in 1998 when the Trinamool Congress was born. In 2018, Mukul Roy joined the BJP. In 2021, he returned to Trinamool.
