Mukul Roy passed away

  Finally, after a long illness, veteran Trinamool leader Mukul Roy passed away. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata for a long time, said Mukul Roy's son Shuvrangshu Roy. He was 72 years old at the time of his death. He joined the party in 1998 when the Trinamool Congress was born. In 2018, Mukul Roy joined the BJP. In 2021, he returned to Trinamool. Shuvrangshu Roy said.

  Reported by Sanchita chatterjee  Howrah: Training camp for financially self-reliant women of Scheduled Castes under the auspices of Rising Voice Foundation ‌ ‌ ‌ Recently, a training camp was organized for women belonging to Scheduled Castes for 15 days in February under the auspices of Rising Voice Foundation and ICAR National Institute of Natural Fiber Engineering and Technology.‌ ‌ The main objective of this 15-day training camp in Makradaha, Domjur, Howrah was to make women who are backward in the society and are victims of domestic violence financially and self-reliant. Jute training was given to 20 women. The training was mainly focused on handicrafts where they were taught some essential items for daily life, various home decoration items, jute ornaments for girls, naturally which are environment friendly.
