The list includes five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards. A total of 19 women have been conferred with these honours. The list also includes six awardees from the Foreigner/NRI/PIO/OCI category and 16 posthumous awardees. Of the 113 Padma Shri recipients, 11 are from West Bengal.  *SXCCAA Reaches Over 800 Beneficiaries Through Mega Health & Eye Check-Up Camp at Raghabpur* Reported by Sanchita chatterjee Kolkata, January 18, 2026: Reaffirming the Xaverian spirit of service and the guiding motto “Nihil Ultra” (Nothing Beyond), the St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA), in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, successfully organised the Mega Health & Eye Check-Up Camp 2026 on Sunday at the Raghabpur Campus of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. The camp benefited over 1,100 residents from Raghabpur and surrounding villages including Bakeswar, Magurkhali, Shalpukur, Debipur, Gosthomath and Paikhala.
